From mid-November to early January, the cellar tour beneath Langenlois is lit up for Christmas, with wine and sparkling wine from the region.

According to the organiser, the cellar tour of the Steininger Loisium Weinwelt is festively decorated and staged with light installations during this period. The fermentation dome hosts a winter installation, and artist Stefan Korinek from Gars am Kamp shows light objects made of copper. Warm winter drinks are served along with wine and sparkling wine from the region, and the wine shop offers regional specialities.

Why this date is interesting
The cellars beneath Langenlois are worth a visit even without Christmas decorations. For us, the lit-up tour is a good reason for a winter trip to the Kamptal, and it runs long enough that you are not tied to a single weekend.

How the event fits the region
According to the organiser, from Thursday 12 November 2026 to Sunday 10 January 2027, daily from 10 am to 6 pm, last cellar admission at 4:30 pm. Open from 10 am to 12 noon on 24 and 31 December, closed on 25 December. The decorated cellar tour is included in regular admission; the event page gives no prices, so please check with the organiser in advance.
