Wine notes from the Wachau
Dates
We do not run any of these ourselves. This page is a signpost: it shows what is currently on and points you to the calendars of the municipalities and the organisers for opening hours, programme and changes.
Events
They are run by other people. Every date has its own page with us and links on to the organiser, where you will find the programme, prices and any short-notice changes.

Ausg’steckt
A Heuriger is a grower’s own tavern, open only for part of the year. The details below come from the calendars named further down, and hours change at short notice, so every entry links to its original. Last updated: 03/11/2026.
Where the dates come from
This page shows an excerpt. For everything, go to the sources — that is where the dates are kept complete and up to date.
Heuriger taverns by municipality
The provincial calendar lists every municipality separately, including the places we do not cover here.
Wine festivals and tastings
For cellar festivals, tastings and the larger wine events, these calendars are the place to look.
Note
The Heuriger dates above are taken from these three calendars: Stadtgemeinde Mautern an der Donau, Marktgemeinde Furth bei Göttweig, Wachau Inside Heurigenkalender. The source is always the authority.
If you are running an event and would like it listed here, or if an entry is no longer correct, just write to us.
