Advent market on four weekends in Dürnstein, on a ship on the Danube, in the abbey courtyard and at the castle, whose old wine cellar opens for the occasion.

According to Danube Lower Austria Tourism, the Wachau Advent takes place on an Advent ship on the Danube, in the abbey courtyard, in the courtyard of Hotel Schloss Dürnstein and along a Christmas trail. On market weekends the castle's wine cellar, more than 400 years old, is open, serving Wachau wines and dishes from the castle kitchen such as Riesling-Beuscherl.

According to the organiser, on 20–22 and 27–29 November and 4–8 and 11–13 December 2026, each day from 11 am to 9 pm. The official visitor information lists an adult day ticket at 12 euros, with free admission for children up to 16; other ticket types and concessions are listed by the organiser. Danube Lower Austria Tourism lists the castle cellar for the market weekends.
